The cost of post-secondary education is often beyond the reach of many Indigenous people in Canada. Indspire is a Canadian charity that provides financial support for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students to pursue educational opportunities. Forgirlsake has partnered with Indspire to create the Forgirlsake Scholarship Award for Indigenous Women, which offers financial assistance for college or university. For the benefit of Indigenous women, Forgirlsake has established a scholarship award of $25,000, which is generously matched by the Government of Canada.

Girls’ education is proven to be one of the most significant indicators of a society’s ability to combat global plights, including climate change, societal instability and inequity, and gender-based violence. In partnering with Razia’s Ray of Hope in Afghanistan, our joint mission is to improve the lives of girls through education, thus improving their communities, their country, and the world.
